I have to share these Simple to make Tropical Luau Party Favor Bags I had made for my daughter’s Luau Birthday Party a few years ago. They are very easy to make and my favorite BUDGET FRIENDLY. Now it is hard to tell from the picture but I really like sparkle and these had that around the edges of the design.
So let me share with you how easy these are to create.
Materials Needed:
- Brown Kraft Bags – You can use any color – I always like the natural look of the Kraft Bags. You can find these at the local craft store sold in a discount pack.
- Hawaiian Tropical Material
- Colored Foam Sheets – What I used for the Tags
- String or Ribbon to attach the Tags
- Glue to glue on the material
- Scissors
- Glitter Paint or Glue to edge the material for a bit of sparkle.
- Permanent Marker to write names on the tags.
- Hole Puncher.
How to do it:
As you can see I had two designs – one was in the shape of a Hibiscus Flower (For the girls) and the other a Simple Surf Board (for the boys). Just cut out your shapes from the material (You can pre make a template ahead of time if that helps). Then Glue them onto the bag. Once they are dry you can trace the designs with the Glitter. I also added some designs to the inside of the flower and a line down the surfboard to really make it pop. I then cut out similar shapes on the foam sheets for my tags and punched a hole at the top using the hole puncher. I wrote each of the guests names on each tag and traced the edges with the marker. I then attached each with the ribbon to the handles of the bag. Let the sparkles dry and you have a Unique Favor Bag that was so simple and looks great.
Now you can add in lots of Luau Party Favors!!
