I made these Black Cat Cupcakes using the Roundabouts Black Cat Cupcake Sleeves and I am happy to share with you how EASY they are to create Step by Step.  These Black Cat Cupcakes are great for anytime of the year, but they are especially perfect for a Halloween Party. They are the Cats Meow !! Did I just say that? Looks like I did.

If you are not familiar with Roundabouts Cupcake Sleeves I will tell you a little about them. They are Self Adhesive Cupcake Wraps that wrap around your Cupcake. They are so simple to use and bring that something extra special to your Cupcake. There are tons of design available to choose from.

For this post I will be showing you the Roundabouts Black Cat Cupcake Sleeves. And as the Roundabouts Saying saying goes: Wrap It, Top It and Go… It is that EASY !!!

Here is what I used to create my Black cat Cupcakes:

  • Cupcakes of Course – I used Vanilla, but any flavor would work
  • Chocolate Frosting
  • Roundabouts Black Cat Cupcake Sleeves
  • Hershey Full Size Candy Bars

Here are all my ingredients ready to go less my Cupcakes. One thing that I think I would have added in if I would have remembered is some Black Sugar Sprinkles. It is not necessary, but I think if I topped the Cupcakes with them it would have given them some extra sparkles – so that is an option to keep in mind.

Bake and cool your Cupcakes. Then simply frost them with your Chocolate Frosting – Licking fingers is allowed – lol. Then take your Self Adhesive Roundabouts Black Cupcake Sleeve and wrap your Cupcake. So far so Easy right?

Now time to cut your Hershey Bar Cat Ears. First let me say that I had my Hershey Bars in the Fridge so they were cold.  So when I went to cut them the crumbled – so thankfully my sister was over and yelled at me and said “You can’t Cut cold Chocolate it will break” – who knew???  So make sure your Hershey Bars are room temp when you do this or stick them in the microwave for just a few seconds. Break your Chocolate Bar into 4 Quarters and then cut them on an angle. You will get 2 ears from each quarter, but when placing them onto your Cat Cupcake you want them to be opposites and only have the smooth side forward. That is It!!! You have now created and adorable Black Cat Cupcake.

I love cats and I am a happy owner of 5 in my home. None of them are Black Cats at this time, but I have had one in the past and they are just beautiful. I think these Black Cat Cupcakes would be a fun addition to any Cat Birthday Party Theme and of course a Halloween Party. They are so Easy to create and would also make a fun activity for the kids to do.

So Yummy and PAW-Fect.
