Box-O-Mania Play Box Kits takes imaginative play to the next level

When I see Fun Toys for the kids that I love I have to write about them and let you know. This is one of them !!! These Lightweight Corrugated Plastic Play Box Kits by Box-O-Mania are the coolest things.  They not only inspire imaginative play, but they also come with specially-designed reusable stickers and the ability for the kids to draw on their own designs over and over.

Oh and even better – They are Super Easy to assemble, easy to move around and can be collapsed for Storage – How cool is that?

One of the things I really love about these Play Box Kits is that they were inspired by a 12 year old girl who had a fascination for Cardboard Boxes. Being she loved to use boxes for playing she had an idea to create a way for other children to play with boxes, but in an upgraded enhanced kinda way.  So her father took her idea and they made it a reality. So along came the Play Box Kits that still hold the charm of a Classic Box, but with a lot more added fun .

What is The Play Box (Official Description):

The Play Box is the evolution of the cardboard box. Made of sturdy corrugated plastic, it is easy to put together and take apart and can be stored in a compact carrying case that fits under a bed or couch. Kids can decorate it with reusable stickers and erasable markers to create four themes: Fire Station, Beauty Salon, House and Club House. It can be used indoors and outdoors and is the perfect space for kids to create, learn, imagine and escape in a whole new way.

• The play box consists of six (6) pieces: a front panel, a back panel, two side panels, the roof and the floor, which locks everything into place
• The play box weighs approximately 16 lbs.
• Once assembled, the play box’s dimensions are 55.75″ L x 36″ W x 57.5″ H
• Once stored, the play box and carrying case’s dimensions are 53.25″ L x 20.5″ W x 3.5″ H
• The play box is 100% corrugated plastic, made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

I tell ya my daughter would have loved to have one of these when she was younger. We had the Little Tikes Playhouse, Pop Up Play Houses and of course we also played and created our own Cardboard Playhouses all the time. I think these are wonderful and the thing I love the best is that you can draw on them over and over and move the stickers around to change up the play every time. Genius, now why didn’t I think of that?

And this is very exciting news for Box-O-Mania and for the kids as well:

Box-O-Mania and Marvel announced that they have entered into a licensing agreement to develop a line of play boxes based on several Marvel character franchises including Spider-Man, Super Hero Squad, Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. Box-O-Mania has obtained the U.S. and Canada rights through 2012. The initial play box will be based on Iron Man and is scheduled to be in stores for holiday 2010.
