I am excited to share this Chocolate Eclair Casserole Recipe that is beyond delicious. You do not have to be an Eclair Lover to like this dessert either . This is so Simple to make and your guests will love it, trust me !!

This is a dessert that my Sista Peep made one night and when she told me what she was creating I was unsure about it since I am not an Eclair Lover. BUT after I had a piece of it I was sold !!! I am not sure why it is called an Eclair because it really does not taste like one, I guess it does resemble one.  Anyway this has become a family favorite since the kids loved it as well. This is definitely a great dessert to serve at a kids party too since the ingredients are those of which kids love.

Sista Peep has made this again since upon request for a family gathering and it was once again a hit will all.

Here is what you will need to make this Chocolate Eclair Casserole:

  • 1 Box Graham Crackers
  • 3 Cups of Milk
  • 2 Boxes French Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
  • 1 Jar Smucker’s Hot Fudge Topping
  • 1 8 ounce Tub of Cool Whip

Using a Whisk, mix together Pudding and Milk until smooth (will be thick) then add in the Cool Whip until blended well.

Then take a 9″ x 13″ baking Pan and line the bottom with Graham Crackers. Then pour 1/2 your Pudding Mixture on top of the Graham Crackers. Add another layer of Graham Crackers on top of that and then add the rest of the Pudding Mixture on top. Then just add one more layer of Graham Crackers to the top of that. Just like building a SWEET Lasagna right?

Take your Hot Fudge and place into a bowl and microwave for about 1 minute, stir and heat for about another minute. Then pour that goodness all over the top of the Graham Crackers – lick bowl when done.

Place your Chocolate Eclair Casserole into the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight.

When ready take it out and Enjoy, but just a warning it is soooo good so make sure to save room for this Dessert. You will definitely want seconds.

Here are some Photos of the process:

Notice my daughter the “Ham” giving her two thumbs up for this one. Funny thing is that I was doing the same thing in between bites.
