Franken Berry’s Strawberry Cake

Do you like Fresh Strawberries and Cake? If so then you will love this Strawberry Cake Recipe that is Sweet & Delicious. Great for Summer Parties, BBQ’s and best of all the kids will LOVE it.

Sista Peep made this the other night for our Dessert and the second I smelled it it reminded me of Franken Berry Cereal. After I tasted it it had a similar flavor so I decided to call it Franken Berry’s Strawberry Cake. So when I took my photo of the cake for you all to see I had to break out my Franken Berry Wacky Wobbler

and boy does he look excited for that piece of cake on the plate huh? Poor thing has been cooped up in a box on my shelf for years – he is HUNGRY (lol).

This Strawberry Cake was so moist and delicious and a perfect cake to make with all those fresh strawberries coming into season. If you take the kids Strawberry picking then add this onto your must make recipes – they will love it, mine did !!

Here is all you need to make this Strawberry Cake:

• Box White Cake Mix
• 1 Box Strawberry Jell-O
• 1 Cup Oil
• 1/2 Cup Milk
• 4 Eggs
• 1 Cup Mashed Fresh Strawberries with the Juice

For the Frosting:

• 1 Lb box of Confectioners Sugar
• 1 Stick Butter Room Temp.
• 1/2 Cup Mashed Fresh Strawberries Drained

Start by mixing Cake Mix, Jell-O, Oil, Milk, Eggs and Strawberries in a bowl. Then pour that into a 9′ x 13″ Baking Dish (sprayed with cooking spray of course). Bake at 350 for about 35-40 minutes. Your kitchen will smell so good like mine did of Strawberries. I was sitting outside and could smell it, it was heavenly !!

Once the Cake is done let it cool before Frosting. You can even stick it in the fridge to speed things up like we did.

For the Frosting – just mix your Butter, Confectioners Sugar and Drained Mashed Strawberries. Frost your Cake and it is ready to Eat.

I am tellin’ ya this is so YUMMY!!! Thanks to my Sista Peep for continuing to destroy my Diet. Oh well I will start on Monday…
