Fruity Pebbles Cereal Treats – Yabba Dabba Delicious !!

Have you made Fruity Pebbles Cereal Treats before? If you have not you have to make some because the kids love them and they add some fun color to your party tables.

Fruity Pebbles Treats are nothing new, but I made some for my daughter’s Groovy Tie Dye Birthday Party and thought I would share the recipe with you in case your forgot about these. I know I had to look up the recipe myself since it had been years since I last made some.

What I love about the Fruity Pebbles is all the fun colors which was perfect for my party theme.  There are so many other cereals you can use when creating these sweet  marshmallow treats like Rice Krispies (that is a given), Cocoa Krispies, Cocoa Pebbles, Trix, Lucky Charms etc…  Pretty much any cereal you love will work !!

Here is all you need to make these Fruity Pebble Cereal Treats:

• 1/4 Cup of Butter (1/2 Stick)
• 8 1/2  Cups of Fruity Pebbles Cereal (11 oz Box)
• 6 Cups of Mini Marshmallows (10 1/2 oz Pkg)

Now there is a microwave method for this, but I do old school on the stove.  All you do is toss your Marshmallows into a pot with the butter and cook stirring constantly on medium heat until it is all nice and melted. Then pour the marshmallow mixture on top of your Fruity Pebbles in the bowl. Then mix it all together and note it will be very sticky. To help with that you can spray your mixing spoon or spatula with cooking spray.

Next you will want to press your Fruity Pebble mixture into a 13″ x 9″ casserole dish. No need to spray it or anything. I used a Tablespoon sprayed with cooking spray to flatten it out – worked like a charm. Then once it cools down cut it up into squares or rectangles.

Then I just took my Fruity Pebble Treats and individually bagged them and closed them with a twist tie. I live in the country and we have lots of flies here so it is important that all of our Sweet Treats are covered or we will have extra guests at our party – lol.

So there you have it – Fruity Pebble Cereal Treats !!! An EASY and inexpensive Yabba Dabba Delicious Party Treat for the kids.
