Jack Pops are a Fun Treat for Jack Skellington Fans

My Son is a huge fan of Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s Nightmare before Christmas Movie as are so many other people. I wanted to create a Fun edible treat featuring Jack Skellington for him and I came up with what I am calling “Jack Pops”.  They came out so cool that I decided to share with you how to make them along with a FREE Printable Template you can use to make your own.

These Jack Pops are a perfect treat for a Halloween Party, Jack Skellington Party Theme or even for Christmas and they are so EASY to make.

Here is What you will need to Create your own Jack Pops:

  • FREE Printable Jack Pops Template – This is Jacks Body I hand drew
  • Heavy White Card Stock Paper
  • Marshmallows
  • Cookie Sticks
  • Black Edible Food Marker Pen
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Styrofoam Base (Optional) depending how you will display them

So here are all my supplies to create the Jack Pops. I also used a Styrofoam Base to display them on when they were complete.

Print out the Jack Pops Template on Heavy White Card Stock. Then Carefully cut it all out. I used Scissors to cut mine, but you can also use an exacto knife if you find it easier to get in between the arms. Once cut out turn it over and tape the Cookie Stick onto the back side leaving enough room to add your Marshmallow Head on to the top and enough room on the bottom to place it into your Styrofoam or display.

Now take your Marshmallow and using your Black Edible Food Marker Pen you can draw on Jack’s Face. Make sure your pen is a fine point and practice with it – sometimes the marker can run a bit so you have to work with it to get your pressure just right. Once you have created a good Jack Skellington Face place it on to your Sick and you are done !!! The Marshmallow will then be completely edible.

If you create some Jack Pops of your own I would love to see them – so send me your Photos to show them off here !!! Oh and by the way – My Son loved them.

Have fun with them and Enjoy !!

How cute is this variation of my Jack Pops using Oreo Cookies and created by Fairytale Frosting – WoW – Love !!!

How about this version using Cake Balls covered in Chocolate via Prunille fait son show.  All the variations of these are amazing !!
