The Party Animal’s Party Peep Spotlight is where I feature and interview other creative Businesses in the Party Industry. These are Party Businesses you may or may not have heard of before. Today my Party Peep Spotlight is on Wants and Wishes.

Wants and Wishes has a passion for parties, baking and designing.  Through their years of throwing parties and making sweets is how Wants and Wishes came to be. There are two divisions of Wants and Wishes. The first is the printables for your parties; which include: invitations, announcements, cupcake toppers, favor toppers, cupcake liners, banners and anything to make your event more special. The collections are for birthday, anniversary and wedding celebrations.  The second division is Wants and Wishes-Dessert Studio where they cater birthday parties, wedding and special events. Basically whatever you want or wish for your party they will give you !!

So I got to ask my Party Peep Debbie, the creative one behind all of these Creative Parties, some questions so we can learn a little more about her and Wants and Wishes.

So lets hear what she had to say with some Party Animal Q&A:

What inspired you to get into the Party World?

I have always enjoyed the Party Planning World from a very young age. My Mom was part of an nonprofit organization in Mesa, AZ called Desert Club that sparked my love for design and party planning.  I recently started my Etsy shop after doing many things for friends and family and realized I loved designing parties!

Do you have a Best Selling Product or Service? If so what is it?

Right now my best selling product is my Superhero Party Collection.

Are your Products and Services Location Specific or Nationwide?

My services are not location specific. I have sent many items internationally. It is always fun to see where my Printables are going to, whether it is domestic or foreign.

Why would someone come to you for their Party Needs? What makes you stand out?

I believe with my graphic and interior design skills I have created many well designed items that are fun, whimsical and trendy while still maintaining the practical side of the design. I also, offer complete custom designs. I recently did an Air-mail collection &  Bowling items for a couple clients, those were really fun!

Share one of your Best Party Memories?

I recently planned a sweet 16 Birthday party. It was sooo much fun. The birthday girl Lexi just wanted a fun, relaxed, hangout sort of party. It was such a blast planning it. The color scheme was pinks, orange, lavender, turquoise and bright yellow. I made custom circle garlands and banners for each station. We had a candy bar with her favorite candies, 3 kinds of brownies and mini cupcakes. A chocolate fountain with all kinds of fruit, peanut butter crunch balls, marshmallows and toppings of: sprinkles, almonds, toffee. Outside we had a hot chocolate bar with marshmallow dipped in chocolate attached to straws and a smores bar with all kinds of candy to make incredible smores (candy bars that were the favorite: Reese peanut butter cups, caramellos & peppermint pattys). They played just dance, guitar hero and had karaoke. It was such a fun and energetic party. I want to plan one for my friends!

What is your Favorite Party Game?

My favorite party game is a trivia game about the guest of honor (birthday boy or girl or bridal/baby shower). This gets everyone involved and we all learn something new about the guest of honor. We get laughing and always have an enjoyable time. This allows the other guest to warm up to the other people attending and new friendships re always made!

What is your Favorite Party Theme?

My favorite theme right now is my Milk & Cookies Bar I did for a baby shower. I have a birthday and baby/bridal shower collection in 6 color ways (I am loving Momofuku trend of interesting cookies… I have made several of her recipes and they are DELISH!!! I can never go back to normal cookies, especially her blueberries and cream- to die for!). It was fun to make all different cookies and cookies & cream cupcakes.  I used rufflefabric.com for the back drop and it turned out gorgeous (I have also used rufflefabric.com for dresses for the little guest of honor.

Birthday Cake or Cupcakes?

I choose cupcakes. I love the individual treats right now. They are so cute and can be packaged so fun!

What is one of your favorite things you like to send home as a Party Favor with the kids or see come home from a Party with yours?

One cool treat I found is candy legos! They are so fun. I want to use them for everything. They even really stack with indents on the bottom of each one to coordinate with the circles on top! We had a blast making and building little candy cities and tunnels with them!

Let me show you a small taste of what Wants and Wishes has to offer:
