Boy do I have a Yummy Recipe for you. This Upside Down Berry Cobbler is so delicious and EASY to make and the kids will love it too !!

Ok so here is the deets on this one. I have been going crazy over the Smurfs Movie coming as you all know if you follow me and have been doing quite a number of posts on Smurf Party Ideas.  So the other night my Sista Peep made this Upside Down Berry Cobbler for dessert to go along with my Smurfy Posts and which I have now renamed “Smurfberry Cobbler”.

If you are having a Smurfs Party then you may want to consider this on your menu – I LOVED❤ it and so did my Kids and Hubby. It is made using Strawberries and Blueberries (Smurfberries-lol) served warm and topped with Vanilla Ice Cream for one Smurfalicious Tasty Treat.

So here is the Recipe for this Smurfberry Cobbler:

  • 1/3 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Bag of Frozen Strawberries (6 ounces) Thawed & Drained
  • 1/2 Bag Frozen Blueberries (6 ounces) Thawed & Drained
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • Vanilla Ice Cream

Preheat oven to 350. Place Butter into a 9″ Square Baking Dish and stick into the oven until melted. Take out and sprinkle 1/2 Cup Sugar on the butter, then add your Berries on top of that.

In a Mixing Bowl Mix Together the rest of your ingredients; Flour, Sugar, Milk, Baking Powder, Vanilla, Salt & Egg. Then pour that over your Berries.

Bake for about 45-50 Minutes

When it comes out of the oven Flip over your Cobbler immediately onto a Plate, let cool for a minute or so and then dish out and serve with a nice heaping portion of Vanilla Ice Cream !!

You so have to try this – Trust me when I say it was SMURFTASTIC !!
