Valentine S’mores Trifle Dessert

Break out your Trifle Bowl and get ready to layer in some S’mores Sweeteness!! This Valentine S’mores Trifle Dessert will definitely win over the hearts of all your party guests.

If you are planning a Valentine’s Day Party or just looking for a sweet dessert to serve up to your loved ones – this is one you have to try. This yumminess was devoured in my house the moment I said “Ok you can dig in”.

Not only does it taste amazing, but it looks pretty darn good sitting out on your party table as well. Of course with anything I make it is so EASY to put together and I am going to show you how step by step right here.

Here is what I used to make this Valentine S’mores Trifle Dessert:

• 1 Box of Devil’s Food Cake
• 1 Large Box of Chocolate Pudding Mix (Instant or Cook n’ Serve – I used the cooked one)
• 1 Tub Cool Whip
• 1 Cup Marshmallow Creme
• Graham Crackers crushed
• Handful of Milk Chocolate Chips
• 1 Package of Red Heart Peeps
• Heart Sprinkles (optional)

Now watch how EASY this is to put together:

Bake your Devil’s Food Cake in round cake pans, let cool.

Then what I did was turn my Trifle Bowl upside down on each baked cake to cut it to size. This way I knew it would fit perfectly into my Trifle Bowl – it worked perfectly.

Then just drop one of your Devil’s food cakes into the bottom of the Trifle Bowl.

Next take some of your prepared Chocolate Pudding and place some on the top of your cake layer. Now I made the Cook n’ Serve Chocolate Pudding because my hubby complains about the instant, so I went the extra step for him – but being this is a Valentine’s Day Treat and he is my Valentine I thought I could handle this request.

Now take your Heart Peeps and line them standing up around the bowl sitting in the chocolate pudding like shown in the photo.

In a medium sized bowl mix your Cool Whip with about a cup of Marshmallow Creme/Fluff.  Then take some of that and layer that in the bowl on top of the chocolate pudding and in between the hearts like I did in the photo.

Crush up some Graham Crackers and sprinkle them on top of the Cool Whip/Marshmallow Creme Layer and then sprinkle on some Milk Chocolate Chips.

Now take your other Devil’s Food Cake layer and put that on top.

Add another layer of your Chocolate Pudding – lick your spoon if needed, lol

Now add another layer of the Cool Whip/Marshmallow Creme and top that with some more Crushed Graham Crackers and Milk Chocolate Chips.

 I added a couple more Heart Peeps on top and sprinkled on some tiny Heart Sprinkles and that is it – DONE !!
