Looking for a fun Unique Witch Cupcake?  Look no further because I am going to share with you How to make these Witch Cupcakes using the Roundabouts Witch Cupcake Sleeves that will have all your Halloween Party Guests Cackling!!! They are Super Easy to make and may look quite eeerie, but taste delicious. The Kids will Love them !!

If you are not familiar with Roundabouts Cupcake Sleeves I will tell you a little about them. They are Self Adhesive Cupcake Wraps that wrap around your Cupcake. They are so simple to use and bring that something extra special to your Cupcake. There are tons of design available to choose from.

For this post I will be showing you the Roundabouts Witch Cupcake Sleeves. And as the Roundabouts Saying saying goes: Wrap It, Top It and Go… It is that EASY !!!

Here is what I used to Create these Witch Cupcakes:

  • Cupcakes of Course – I used Vanilla, but any Flavor will do.
  • Chocolate Frosting
  • Roundabouts Witch Cupcake Sleeves
  • Oreo’s Chocolate Ice Cream Cones
  • Chocolate Cookies
  • Black Licorice
  • Wilton’s Orange & Black Striped Icing
  • Flat Tip for Wilton’s Icing Tube
  • Yellow Decorators Icing

Here are all my ingredients less my Cupcakes & Yellow Icing Tube ready to go. Now let me add that finding Chocolate Ice Cream Cones was a tough one for me, but after looking long and hard my sister finally found some made by Oreo. If you cannot find any you can always dip your Ice Cream Cone into melted Chocolate or even heat up some Chocolate Frosting and coat them with that. As far as my Black Licorice goes, I used regular vs. Shoelace Licorice only because I also could not find any anywhere – Can u believe that? I made it work as you will see below, but if you can find Black Shoestring Licorice by you then go with that. I checked so many stores and Nada !! For my Chocolate Cookies I used the Chocolate Fudge by Archway, but you can use any large Chocolate Cookie that is larger than the base on the Ice Cream Cone.

For the Witch’s Hat Belt I found Wilton’s Orange & Black Striped Decorators Icing which I wanted to try since I had never seen it before, but again you can do anything here. Solid colored Icing or even Fruit Roll Up wrapped around. Just have Fun with it.

To start Bake and Cool your Cupcakes. Then Frost your Cupcakes with your Chocolate Frosting. Then Wrap your Cupcakes with the Self Adhesive Witch Cupcake Sleeve. I must say the Witch face is great on this and she even has a hairy wart on her nose – ewww, but so perfect for a Witch.

For the next step I cut up my Black Licorice Witch Hair. If you are lucky enough to find Black Shoestring Licorice this will not be as time consuming for you. I must say I did like the fact that my Witches had a Curly Hair look from my Licorice.  Then you just stick in a bunch of the Licorice to form her hair around the Cupcake. When done with that Stick you Chocolate Cookie on the Top.

Next I took used the Wilton’s Orange & Black Striped Icing with a Flat Tip and made my Band on the Hat. I then added a Yellow Buckle with the Yellow Decorators Icing.

To finish her off I took some of the Chocolate Frosting and added to the bottom of the Ice Cream Cone as a glue and then stuck it onto the Cookie. When it sets the Witch Hat stays nice in place. That is it – Your Witch Cupcake is now complete. Easy right?

I don’t know about you, but this is one Cool Witch Cupcake – that Witch Cupcake Wrap really sets this Witch Cupcake apart from all the others I have seen. Tell me this would not be the perfect treat for the Kids Halloween Party or just as a Fun Halloween Treat.

Where did you get your cones? They seem really dark, and I need some for a Haunted House I’m doing.
    Thanks much!

  4. I sell the Roundabuots Cupcake Sleeves on my website here: The Party Animal. The Cones are the same – maybe is was the lighting from my camera – they are lighter.
