These Page Eating Monster Bookmarks would make a great party activity or even just for a rainy day. They are EASY to make, fun and totally useful.
My daughter came across this idea in one of her American Girl Magazines and so we decided to make some even though we changed up the way they did it. They came out so adorable that I knew I had to share how to make them with all of you. It is not your ordinary bookmark the way they go on the corner of the page and look as though they are eating it.
I think this would be a great craft activity at a party too and I think the kids would love to make some of these – I know my daughter did and honestly so did I. There is no right or wrong way to make your monster bookmark and each one is totally different. I would love to see what a group of kids would come up with.
So here is what you will need to create some Page Eating Monster Bookmarks:
- Cardstock, Scrapbook Paper or Construction Paper – just a heavier grade paper.
- Tape
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Markers
- Fold the corner of your paper
- Now cut out the triangle
- rim it even if need be
- Now cut the triangle in half
- Tape the two shorter sides together making sure the tape is on the inside
- Your base is ready to Monsterfy!!
Go crazy with the design , BUT make sure not to forget the teeth!!
Here are some my daughter and have made so far and we will be making more because they are so much fun to make.
Hope you like this idea and get out your supplies to make some of your own.
Love it and easy to do with the kids!
