Cupcake Batter Dispenser Review

When I first saw the Cupcake Batter Dispenser I was intrigued. I am a BIG Fan of Cupcakes and I am always making them, but when I do I make a mess when filling up my Cupcake Liners in the baking pan. So when I saw a product that promised to make this cupcake making task easier and less messy I was very excited, but does it really do what it says????

You always see these type of products that promise you the world and then they do not deliver, but the curiosity takes over and you want to believe. This is one product that I wanted to believe in. Normally when I bake cupcakes the messiest part for me is transferring the Cupcake Batter from the mixing bowl to the Cupcake Liners. I usually use a spoon when doing it and then it drips all over the place and drives me crazy.

I am not sure where I first saw this Cupcake Batter Dispenser for the first time, but when I did I wanted it. So I added it to my Christmas List and my hubby came through for me and it was under the tree this year. Sweet huh? I think so. So I figured I would do a review of it when I used it for the first time to let you all know if it works.

The actual name of mine is the Chicago Metallic Baking Essentials Batter Dispenser, there are others out there but this is the one I got and wanted also because it was Purple (my favorite color). It costs around $14.99.

Here is the Official Description for you:

  • Perfect for-cupcakes, pancakes and more
  • 4-Cup capacity; measures 6-3/4-inch by 7-1/4-inch by 4-1/2-inch high
  • Pour batter into-cupcake dispenser, position over center of-cup, pull handle for quick and easy filling
  • Top rack dishwasher safe or hand wash to extend life of product
Ok so now down to the Nitty Gritty – Does it do work?

YES !!! This is my new favorite toy – I love it and will never go back to the spoon method again. I just poured my Cupcake Batter into the Dispenser – not all of it fit at once, but about 3/4 did. Then I held it above my Cupcake Liners pulled the handle and it filled them up. I thought it would drip at the bottom, but it did not at all. All my Cupcake Liners got filled with no drips and more evenly then the way I did it before.

Clean up was super easy – I rinsed it out and hand washed even though it said it is dishwasher safe.

The next thing I am going to try is making Pancakes – I am Super Excited. It truly is amazing at how excited I get over gadgets – is it just me?
So if you are big into Cupcake making I say you have to have this – I give it Two Thumbs Up !!!
