I HEART Pizza, do you?

Ok Pizza Lovers out there have some fun this Valentine’s Day and make yourself a Heart Shaped Pizza and to kick it up a notch add on some Heart Shaped Pepperoni’s too.

Today I decided to make one of my Valentine’s (my son) some pizza – even if it is not Valentine’s Day yet I thought it would be fun. I love him and he loves Pizza – see how that works?

As I was cleaning my storage room full of all my baking pans I came across a Heart Shaped Pan (really a heart cookie pan) I had never used and decided it would be perfect for a Pizza. OH and besides the fact that I have been seeing Heart Shaped Pizzas all over Pinterest with Valentine’s Day looming.  So today I decided to be nice and make one and so I did and had to share!!

Here is what I used to make my Heart Pizza:

• Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust
• Pizza Sauce
• Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
• Pepperoni’s
• Heart Shaped Pan – If u do not have one just shape your Pizza Dough into a Heart on a flat Cooke sheet.

Pizza Making Time !!!

I gathered my supplies. Fought with the Pizza Dough to fit the pan. Baked the pizza dough in the oven at 400 for 8 minutes.

Meanwhile I cut up my pepperoni’s into hearts as shown.

I topped my baked Pizza Crust with Sauce, Lots O’ Cheese and my Heart Pepperoni’s.

Stuck it back in the oven at 400 for about 10 minutes and then turned up to broil to brown my cheese.

Pizza eating Time!!!

 Best part is when I called my son in the kitchen and told him I made him lunch and he saw his Heart Shaped Pizza.

Like I said I have seen this done a million times, but have never done it myself until now – sometimes it is just fun to change things up. So take this as inspiration to do the same.

A Heart Shaped Pizza is not only great for Valentine’s Day, but a fun way to serve up your pizza anytime of the year.
