Just Mom and Me – A Great Gift for your Daughter

I love creating memories with my kids and writing in my journal that is written to them so they can have it when they are grown. When I saw this book Just Mom and Me by American Girl I thought it was so sweet. Having a daughter myself I think this is a great book full of fun games and activities we can do together.  This book includes Tear-outs including quizzes, checklists, recipes, door hangers, bookmarks, notes, coupons, a photo frame, leaves for a family tree, CD case covers, and more.

One of my favorites in this book are the Quizzes that you both take and then you can compare the answers.  It is something she can keep and look at later in life and remember the time we shared doing it. I lost my mom when I was only 8 years old so having these types of memories is extra important to me as I wish I had them to look back on now as an adult. So if you are looking for a special gift whether it be for your own daughter or another parent who has a daughter this is a great choice.  I really like the books in the American Girl Library they are well written and focus on values which I think are so important.
