Here is a recipe for Delicious Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies that you cannot stop at eating just one. Nothing wrong with taking a cookie favorite and kicking up a notch with a minty flavor that might just make these your new favorite cookie to eat.
For Christmas my Sista Peep baked up a batch of these Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies for us and I am in LOVE. I cannot stop eating them, which is good and bad of course since they are full of calories, but Hey New Years is for starting our diets anyways right?
So of course I had to share the recipe with all of you so you can try them for yourself, but do not come complaining to me when you become addicted and put on a pound or two – It’s all good !!
Here is all you need to bake up a batch of these Heavenly Minty Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 1 Package/Pouch of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix (1 Lb 1.5 Ounce) – Found in baking isle
- 1/2 Cup Butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp Mint Extract
- 6 Drops of Green Food Coloring
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup of Chopped Andes Candies
In a large mixing Bowl mix together your Sugar Cookie Mix, Mint Extract, Green Food Coloring and Egg until a soft dough forms. Then Mix in your Chocolate Chips and Andes Candies.
Then drop about a teaspoon size ball onto your ungreased cookie sheet leaving about 2 inches in between.
Bake your cookies at 350 for approx. 8-10 minutes.
Let Cool for about 3 minutes (great warm) ~ then grab a Tall Glass of Cold Milk hide from kids and family and eat them all !! lol
If you feel like sharing these they are great for any occasion and a wonderful addition to any party. My kids loved them as well. They are not overly minty at all – it is just the right amount of minty flavoring which makes them extra yummy.
Enjoy – I know I did !!
