Make Snowman Cookies with the Kids

snowman cookieI was just looking through some old pictures on my computer when I found these of my kids making Snowman Cookies many years ago.  So I figured I would post them and share how easy this activity is to do with the kids during the Winter. I have done this many times and it is something that I also do when my kids have a play date with their friends at my house.  Kids love to eat cookies so why not turn it into a fun activity they can participate in. It is also a great activity idea for a Holiday or Winter Party. It is just so Simple.

All you need is:

  • Kids to participate – never hard to find them
  • Roll of Sugar Cookie Dough sliced into round cookies
  • Mini Chocolate Chips
  • Orange Gummy  Slices – Cut into strips for the Carrot Nose and rolled into some sugar so they are not sticky.

Then get those kids to decorate the cookies into Snowman Faces, Bake and Enjoy – so easy to do and the kids love them – Yum Yum Yum. You can even give the cookies an extra sprinkle of sugar on top to add some sparkle. Does it get any more simple? Oh and do not forget a nice big glass of cold milk to go along with them. If you like these check out my post on Snowman Cupcakes.
