Watermelon Pizza

I recently saw this idea in a Magazine and thought it was adorable so I had to share it. This would be perfect for all the upcoming Summer Pool Parties and BBQ’s. All you really do is cut up your Watermelon into triangles and arrange in a Pizza Shape – That is it.  In the Magazine I was reading they had the Pizza Shaped Watermelon in a Pizza Box which you can get at your local Pizzeria.

It is just so Simple and a Cute idea to bring some extra fun to your Watermelon at your Party or BBQ. I think the Party guests may be surprised when the open the Pizza Box to find a Healthy Treat inside and Yes some may be disappointed it was not a Pizza, but that is the point. It is also a great way to cover it and keep all the pesky flies away too. Double Bonus !!!

I also came across this Watermelon Pizza Recipe that is cute and different – Who would have thought to add some toppings to your Watermelon.

This is what was used to make it:
1 (8-to-10 inch round and 1-inch thick) watermelon slice, drained to remove excess moisture
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

They just sliced up the Watermelon and Drained excess Juice and patted dry. Then Spread on the Strawberry Preserves and add your Toppings.

I cannot say I have ever had that before, but what a Fun Treat that will definitely have the guests talking – it is so Different.
