Zhu Zhu Pets are on all the Kids Christmas Lists

Some time back my kids told me about Zhu Zhu Pets from a commercial they saw on TV and told me I should blog about them. So of course I did just that and created a Squidoo Page all about the Zhu Zhu Pets.  I had no idea at the time I created this page that these toys would be one of the hottest of the season. I do think they are adorable and I can see why the kids are so attracted to them.

Last year my daughter asked for a Hamster, but being we have 6 cats in the house I just did not think it was a good idea. So last Christmas  we got her a Plush Toy Hamster instead.  I wish these Zhu Zhu Pets were out then so I could have gotten her one of these Battery Operated life like versions that makes noise.  Regardless she was happy with her plush hamster and we even got her a Hamster Wheel for it.

Anyway I think these Zhu Zhu Pets and all the accessories are cute for those kids who also want a Hamster and us parents who are like “No Way”.  It is true what they say – they are Hamsters without the mess and we know Hamsters can make a big mess. I know I do not have time to be cleaning a Hamster Cage on top of everything else and we all know that when the kids say they will do it – they don’t – we do.

So I give these Zhu Zhu Pet Toys a thumbs up – the kids seem to really like them and they can collect them all along with build them a fun play area with all the accessories they have out. It also seems the company behind them, Cepia, already has a new line of Zhu Zhu Pet Accessories and add ons already in the works for the new year. Just to give you a heads up.
