Looking for a fun Birthday Party Drink for the kids? I stumbled across this Strawberry Cooler Drink on Betty Crocker’s site and it is so Simple, Yummy and Perfect for any Summer Party. The kids would love it.
Sometimes it is more fun to create a nice cold drink instead of just having Juice Boxes and Soda at a Party. It makes the kids smile to have a Fancy Drink and you can put them into fun Party Cups with Fun Straws. Don’t forget the Paper Umbrellas – every kids loves those – I know when I was young I always had to have them in my Shirley Temples.
Here is what you need to Create this Strawberry Cooler Drink:
- 1 Package (2-quart size) Strawberry-Flavored Drink Mix – Kool Aid works Great
- 2/3 Cup of Sugar
- 3 Cups of Water
- 1 Pint (Approx. 2 cups) of Fresh Strawberries with the Stems Removed
- 2 Bottles (1 Liter Each) or 1 – 2 Liter Bottle of Lemon Lime Flavored Soda
Mix Strawberry Drink Mix, Sugar and Water. Pour into divided Ice Cube Tray. Then Place 1 whole Strawberry in each cube. Freeze at least 4 hours or overnight.
When ready to Serve – Place your Fruit Cubes into a Fun Fancy Glass and top it with your Lemon Lime Soda – add a Fun Straw and you are ready to bring Smiles to all the Kids Faces.
Tips:
Try and use small Strawberries for the Cube Tray – or you can cut them in halves
Save some Strawberries and add them into the Glass as a Garnish as an extra treat
This is also a great Drink choice at a Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party !!!
