Mickey Mouse Birthday Party

Everyone loves Mickey Mouse and what better way to celebrate a party, but with a Mickey Mouse Theme. So let me walk you through some great supplies and ideas to help you plan for one MAGICAL party.  When I think of Mickey Mouse I think of Disney World which happens to be the Happiest Place on Earth – so your goal is to plan a party that will give you the happiest Birthday Child on their special day. So lets get this party planned!!!

To start getting your guests excited about coming to your party you need to have amazing invitations. One of my favorite places to always find the best invites is EBay. You can start by looking at all the options available for Personalized Mickey Mouse Invitations and there are a lot. What I love about what you will find is the variety to choose from and the ability to personalize them with your own wording and even the birthday child’s photo in some cases. The other thing I really love is the fact that a lot of sellers give you the option to print them yourself – so last minute party planners are no problem.

Now if you have some time you can try your hand at Homemade Mickey Mouse Invitations and it is very easy with a  template that is made available from My Party File.  All you need to create these adorable invites is some Red, Black and White construction paper, glue and a printer to print out all the party information. Now how cute are those? I think they are absolutely adorable and really so easy to make. You can even use these to stick on your Party Favor bags to if you feel like getting a little extra crazy with your creativity.

Now lets move to your Mickey Mouse Party Supplies. You can either purchase you paper goods in a Deluxe Pack which would include 8 invitations, dinner plates, cups, forks, spoons, activity placemats, 16 napkins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse tablecover, centerpiece, mylar balloon, 18 balloons (3 colors), crepe paper rolls (3 colors), curling ribbon (3 colors) and cake candles. Or you can pick and choose what you want and mix and match with some solid colors to save money. Renumber that is you order the kit it does come with the Invitations.

Now a couple of items that I think are a must have at your Mickey Mouse Party are Mickey Mouse Ears Headbands – no Mickey Party would be complete without the kids wearing these. Plus the kids can also bring them home and they become party of the party favor. They are not very expensive, but if you are again feeling crafty you can create these yourself using Black Foam Sheets (hold up better than construction paper) , cut our your ears leaving a small tab at the bottom and tape them to a headband using black tape.

Another one I love is the Mickey Mouse Standup – this is a Lifesize Mickey Mouse the guests can stand with and have their picture taken. You can then print up the photos of them and send them as your Thank You notes as yet another keepsake. I also like to take a group party picture with them too. Oh and another favorite is that is it a Double Purpose decoration meaning when the party is over your child has a great room decoration they get to keep and enjoy. Now how fun is that? Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck are also available.

You can also find so many Mickey Mouse Balloons available, but Would like to share with you two of my personal favorites. One of my favorites are the Mickey Mouse Ear Balloons – they are simple latex balloons that are just in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s Head – I just think they give an extra special touch and I really like them. You can even send one home with each guest – they would love that.

The other one is the Mickey Mouse Bubble Balloon – now if you have never seen the Bubble Balloons they are not your regular Balloons – they are round like a Beach Ball, 22″ in size and the design goes around on all sides. These are very different and truly Magical I think.

Now lets move on to some fun Mickey Mouse Party Games.  Now party is complete with out a Pinata so you might want to get a Mickey Mouse Pinatafor the party. You can fill it not just with candy, but some of the thousands of Mickey Mouse Toys and Trinkets you can find available.
